Courtney Doman,
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

I earned my master's degree from Oklahoma State University with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and a bachelor's degree in Family Life and Human Development from Southern Utah University.

I am passionate about helping people feel understood and gain the skills and perspective needed to reach their goals and live a happier and more productive life. I am experienced in a variety of approaches to help you reach these goals including Structural Family Therapy, Emotion Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems Theory (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Somatic Therapy. I am also certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) an evidence-based bilateral therapy similar to EMDR aimed at reducing distress from traumatic or other events in as little as 1- 5 sessions.

 
In addition to therapy, I am an Adjunct Professor at Utah Valley University teaching classes like Trauma Informed Care, Marriage and Relationship Skills, and Family Dynamics and Systems. Outside of work, I enjoy singing, reading, being outside and in the sun with family and friends.
